With the arrival of spring and many more sunny days to come a new pair of shades for the “wee one” are in order. I know my eyes cry out for protection when ever I step out on a blue sky day so it only makes sense to do what I can to protected those little peepers. Here is my pick for some stylin’ eye wear…

Jumbo Infant Sunglasses – This is a great choice for the littlest ones. they are sized 0-18 months. The frames are reversible so there is no up or down to them. They are flexible and have no hinge and the strap is adjustable and removable. What more could you ask for?

While your at it pick up a pair for yourself. I’m a Smith fan myself. Check out the Smith Melrose Sunglasses.

While I was pregnant I came across a clearance sale on a BOB Revolution Stroller. I jumped at the opportunity and snatched it up right away. I haven’t regretted making that purchase once. We live in a mountain community with dirt roads and rolling hills. So my theory was that if I bought a heavy duty jog stroller I could overcome the ruts, rocks, and mud that make up our roads and be able to enjoy walks with my daughter. My theory has proven to be true. I have not been let down by the trusty B.O.B. It has been through the rockiest, muddiest, and snowiest paths!

The features I appreciate the most…

First and foremost the smooth ride. The two-phase adjustable shock system provides my daughter with the most comfortable ride and I don’t have to worry about her getting jostled around on our rough roads. This is evident by her many naps she has taken while out for a stroll. The knobby tires help out in this area as well. They provide excellent traction in the worst of conditions. These jogging strollers are so easy to maneuver it seems effortless. It turns on a dime and as I mentioned before has never let me down in any weather or road condition.

Second is the over sized canopy with a peek-a-boo window. It provides ultimate sun protection for the “wee one”. The window allows Mom and Dad to check on her with a birds eye view from above. The canopy provides good shelter and helps keep the wind off her face and the dust to a minimum.

Third I like having a choice for a front wheel to be locked in place or allowed to swivel. I prefer the swivel option in most cases for maneuverability, but I have learned this winter that the locking wheel comes in handy to get you through snowy and muddy roads that tend to grab at the wheel.

Last but not least I was thrilled to find that the B.O.B can “grow” with you child. There is an infant car seat adapter available that allows you to use the B.O.B straight away. We took full advantage of this and made sure we had an infant car seat that was compatible. The harness system is adjustable as well, so as your wee one grows the stroller will adapt.

Our BOB Revolution Stroller will be with us for a while it is sturdy, durable, and the best ride in town for our little one. For more information on B.O.B. gear, check out their web site.
